Negotiation of pre-let for a 17-year FRI lease at a starting rent of £3.25m p.a to BT plc for the design and construction of a 40,000 sq ft Internet Data Centre and 30,000 sq ft office block.
Having followed a new BT blueprint specification, with its state of the art security and mechanical and electrical plant provision, this is now one of the most modern internet data centres in the world and BT's flagship. Five months following the signature of the Agreement for Lease in July 2001, work began on this highly complex construction project which was delivered on time and within budget.
