Portfolio - Joint Venture - PMG Pullman
PMG Pullman is a joint venture between PMG and Pullman Fabrication Ltd, the railway coachbuilders. Pullman occupied an 8 acre site in central Cardiff, along with Jarvis and Amey who had leasehold interests. Together the JV partners purchased an alternative site in Canton, Cardiff, in order to relocate the companies, although ultimately only Pullman have made Canton their new home.
By achieving vacant possession of such a strategic site and completing the purchase from Railtrack, PMG Pullman were able to sell on the site to Cardiff University for their long term student accommodation and academic building requirements. This is a prime example of how PMG can help owners/occupiers of potentially valuable brown field development sites, by funding, employing the necessary professionals and using their expertise to maximize the development value of the land.
