PMG have concluded negotiations with Wickes for a surrender of the remaining term of their lease of this prominent building on a two acre site at Penarth Road in Cardiff. Upon completion of the surrender, a new owner occupier LOK'NSTORE will complete their purchase of the site to carry out their fit out and operate this as their first Welsh Storage Facility.
The purchase of this highly prominent site from Welsh Assembly Government which was conditional upon receipt of planning for a new Drive Through has been completed. It is our intention to commence development on site as soon as possible in order that the build can be completed. Upon completion 25 jobs will be created to operate the new development scheme.
We are very pleased that having worked with a Local Registered Social Landlord a planning application has now been submitted for the construction of 47 new homes on this redundant brownfield site. The proposed scheme will provide a range of housing types for the area. As a result of this application an abandoned large pond located on site will also be preserved for the benefit of the local angling club and community.
Working with a historical and well respected landowner, PMG have agreed terms for a promotion agreement on a four acre parcel of land in Danescourt, Cardiff. Over the next six months the baseline work will be carried out in order to enable a planning application to be submitted. The site will have the potential for forty plus new homes in what is a very sustainable and desirable location.
