Following the receipt of planning permission in November 2013 for this residential development, a Section 106 Agreement was completed with Rhondda Cynon Taff Council this week which has enabled completion to take place of the sale of this development site to Persimmon Homes. Persimmon intend to start work on site immediately with the ability to offer 270 new houses for sale within RCT before the end of this year. Barnardos have exchanged contracts for a new unit to be constructed at the Thornhill site. Works will start on the construction of the unit on February 17th and are expected to take 12 weeks. Barnardos will join Sainsburys and Greggs on site.
Cardiff Council have resolved to grant outline planning permission for 1020 homes at East Cardiff. The land which is owned by the St Ederyns Land Consortium headed by PMG will now be subject to a detailed Section 106 agreement and following its completion, a reserved matters application will be submitted for the first phase of the proposed development.
Following completion of our main works on site both Sainsburys and Greggs have taken occupation in order to fit out their premises in readiness for occupation.
The Planning Committee of Rhondda Cynon Taff Council last night granted the proposals for residential development at Church Village. Following completion of the Section 106 Agreement, work can commence by the house-builder to build 270 new homes in this area.
